Product BriefAGG BRO ABM1000 is Self Adhesive Waterproofing Membrane protected by Cross Laminated High - Density HDPE Film. ABM1000 consists of a special mofied Special compound that remains adhesive even at low temperatures. The cross-laminated high- density polyethylene film gives the membrane characteristics of dimensional stability and ensures uniform reaction to elongation stresses in a longitudinal and transversal direction. This membrane has been studied and developed for the specific waterproofing of vertical walls, foundations and basements and all applications where there is required fast techniques that ensure secure results with reasonable costs.Features : Cold Applicaton : Installed without any use of open flameChemical Resistance : The Protective HDPE film is resitant to acid, alkalis and other polluntants.Flexibiltiy & adaptability : This Membrane will adapt easily to irregulary shaped surfaces and will stretch without breaking or cracking.Self Sealing : The membrane self seals on contact with any substrate maintaining its watertightness.Applications Waterproofing in Roofs, Waterproofing of foundations and horizontal and vertical underground structures; Waterproofing in atmospheres not compatible with the use of free fire flames (i.e. factories or warehouses were flammable chemical agents are produced or stored).SurfacePreparation The Surface should be clean, dry, smooth and dust-free. If the surface is porous, apply a coat of Solvent Based Primer.Application ABM-1000 should always be applied from the lowest point to enable laps to shed water. All edge and end laps must be overlapped a minimum of 60 mm. Internal and external corners shall be reinforced with an extra layer of membrane 300 mm wide. All end laps and exposed edges should be sealed.
