NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- The Cornell women's track and field team finds itself in the thick of the Ivy League team race after day one at the 2022 Outdoor Heptagonal Championship at Yale's Dwyer Track. The Big Red sits tied for second place with 26 points with Victoria Atkinson winning the first individual event title of the meet for the Big Red with a big school record in the pole vault. Six athletes qualified for Sunday's finals and five scored on day one.
