quot;Xenia" is the ancient Greek concept of hospitality, literally translating to "guest-friendship". It amounts to the generosity and courtesy shared between the guest and the host, and vice-versa. The god Zeus is the patron of the concept, and punished those who violated it in much the same way as several other divinities did.
