Hundreds turned out for this year’s Juneteenth parade in Waco, donning masks and gloves to celebrate a 155-year tradition still new to some who attended.
Juneteenth commemorates the end of slavery in the country, but here’s what else you should know about this American holiday. Veuer’s Justin Kircher has the story.
Lily Gladstone, an esteemed Blackfeet actress who grew up in Browning and East Glacier, Montana, was honored by the Blackfeet Nation for her accomplishments after becoming the first Indigenous person to win a Golden Globe award for her role in "Killers of the Flower Moon." Gladstone received a stand-up headdress, which is unique to the Blackfeet Confederacy and bares great symbolism and honor.
